Session Title: Emotional Intelligence and Brain Health
Speaker: Scott Warrick

Time: 11:30am - 1:00pm
Location: Hilton Garden Inn, Findlay, OH

Session Description:Why do some people remain calm, focused, and productive under pressure while others struggle with stress, conflict, and emotional overload? The answer lies in understanding the powerful connection between emotional intelligence and brain health.

In this engaging and practical session, nationally recognized speaker, attorney, human resources professional, and best-selling author Scott Warrick will explore how our brains influence our emotions, behaviors, decision-making, and relationships. Drawing from the latest findings in neuroscience and his extensive experience helping organizations develop stronger leaders and healthier workplaces, Scott will explain how emotional intelligence is not simply a personality trait, but a skill that can be developed and strengthened.

Participants will learn how stress affects the brain, why emotional reactions can sometimes override rational thinking, and what practical steps can be taken to improve self-awareness, self-control, resilience, and interpersonal effectiveness. Scott will also discuss proven strategies for supporting brain health, managing stress, and creating habits that enhance both personal well-being and professional performance.

Attendees will leave with practical tools they can immediately apply to improve communication, strengthen relationships, manage conflict more effectively, and enhance their overall emotional and cognitive health.
