Session Title: Trauma Informed Workplaces
Speaker: AMBER G. WOLFROM, M.A., OCPC, ICPS, Adult Prevention Consultant~ Family Resource Center
Time: 11:30am - 1:00pm
Location: Hilton Garden Inn, Findlay, OH
Session Description:Today’s workplaces are shaped by the lived experiences employees bring with them, whether visible or not. HR professionals are often on the front line of supporting employees through stress, change, and uncertainty. Trauma informed care approaches are not about diagnosing or treating; they focus on understanding how lived experiences may influence behavior, communication, and engagement at work. Correctly identifying and responding to individuals through a trauma informed lens is a benefit to the individual and the workplace, leading to stronger relationships, improved retention, and healthier organizational cultures.
